Meet our 2017 Miss Saint Patrick

My name is Mikayla Elizabeth Franklin.  I am a life-long resident of Burlington City graduating from Burlington City High School in 2016.  As a high school student I participated in multiple organizations and served as senior class president and editor of the school yearbook.  My love of sports started at a young age prompting me to play soccer and softball at the local recreation level and continuing that involvement in high school where I participated in soccer, indoor track, volleyball and softball.

My family’s Irish heritage lead me to Irish dance at the age of four.  I danced with the Ryan-Kilcoyne School of Irish Dance for ten years and continue to volunteer with their competition registration.   Currently, I am a freshman at the University of Florida (“Go Gators!”) majoring in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology hoping to use my passion for sports to pursue a career as an Athletic Trainer.

I am so honored and proud to be selected as Miss St. Patrick 2017.  I want to thank the Parade Committee for my selection and am grateful for the support of family and friends.
