Tim Murphy was born in Philadelphia to Kathleen and Bob Murphy on April 26th 1967. After grade school entered Father Judge where he participated in crew. Graduating in 1985 and entered the work force bartending while working on his degree. After receiving his degree he started working for Independence Blue Cross in the IT Department for the next 24 years. Met his charming wife Christine while doing a show at “ Brittinghams Irish Pub” in 2001 playing with the Bin Lid Boys. Tim and Christine married in 2005 at Presentation BVM church in Cheltenham Village. In 2006 their prayers were answered with the birth of their darling daughter Mackenzie. Four years later came the biggest surprise of all TWINS! Maeve and Molly. Identical Twins. Equally beautiful . Next to the love of his family coming in second, his love of music. Rock, Blues, Ballads but his real love of music is dedicated to the Irish music scene, playing with the Bin Lid Boys and his present band “The Bogside Rogues” in which he has played at Irish Festivals up and down the east coast and in 2004 toured Ireland. On occasions opened for the Wolfe Tones, Black 47, and the Saw Doctors. Tim’s a member of Division#25 AOH Fox Chase and donates many hours of his time with the band doing charity shows for deserving causes. Tim now resides in Delran N.J.
