The Burlington County St. Patrick’s Day Parade is held annually on the 1st Saturday of March in Mount Holly, NJ, and is the only St. Patrick’s parade celebrated annually in the county. Between 8,000 and 10,000 people attend this annual event.
The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with a 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk to benefit township recreational programs. The race starts at High and Washington streets.
At 1 p.m., the parade begins at the Fairgrounds Plaza, where Route 541 becomes High Street. Approximately 60 groups will participate, including Pipes and Drums, Bands, Fraternal Organizations, Celtic Organizations, Police and Fire Departments, and Youth Organizations.
Join us during and after the Parade, at our heated tent at the end of the High Street route at Washington Street, where visitors can enjoy food, beverages, beer, live music, dance and other entertainment.
The Parade Committee will also crown a Miss St. Patrick and select a Grand Marshal who will help lead the procession.
