Mt Holly Saint Patrick Parade

The Fourth Annual Burlington County Saint Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Saturday March, 1, 2008 in Downtown Mount Holly. The Parade Route will run down the length of High Street Starting near the Fairgrounds Plaza and Continue to the bottom of the hill, turning onto Washington Street and ending at the Town Hall. The Parade will once again kick off at 1 P.M.

This is Burlington County's only Parade celebrating Irish Heritage. We will once again be joined by some of the area's greatest Irish Musicians and Dancers including the Bogside Rogues, Lia Fail Pipe Band, The Shanty's and many other great acts. In addition, expect to see many other groups joining the march down High Street including several Irish Organizations, Police and Fire Units and representatives of our Armed Forces. This years parade is slated to be bigger and better then last years event. We are looking for new groups and people to join us in marching along High Street. We encourage all possible marchers to contact us for more information. No matter who you are there is a place for you in the parade. Whether you have a fire truck, a Band, dancer group or your family just wants to march down the street together we have a place for you.

Putting on a Parade of this size takes a lot of time and effort. We are also looking for new people to join us in helping to organize the Parade. If you can assist us please give us a call. We need a large number of volunteers to help organize the parade and even more to run the parade. We especially need assistance with many logistical matters such as acquiring floats and trucks. If you can help us out in any way please let us know.
